In the centre of 'Heatbeat' country, the Beacon has appeared in a number of heatbeat episodes, such as 'Spellbound' starring Catweasel's Geoffrey Bayldon.  'David Stockwell's Ghost' featuring Hermione Norris, had a large proportion of the episode filmed in the bedrooms and public areas of the Beacon.  Most recently the guest lounge which was used as the doctor's surgery in the early series starring Nick Berry was converted for use as a solicitors office (shown below) in the 'Nightmail' episode guest starring  Eric Sykes as the solicitor.

Some of the more avid Heatbeat fans will notice from more than one of the photographs on this website some of the locations for the filming of the cast interviews for the 2006 Christmas special - guest starring 'Grange Hill's' and 'Eastenders' Todd Carty.
